The decoration at the bungalow was lovely, giving it a cozy and charming atmosphere. The general areas of the hotel, especially the bar and loungers on the sand, were perfect for leisurely moments while enjoying the beautiful beach. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel was easily accessible, with no difficult stairs or long distances to walk.
It would have been even better if there were more activities or amenities catered specifically towards senior guests.

We had a blast trying our hand at fishing, diving, and kite surfing. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, making sure we had everything we needed for a fun and safe experience. It was a perfect destination for an adventurous family like ours.
My kids wished there were more options for children's entertainment.

I spent my days lounging on the beach, snorkeling, and enjoying delicious food and cocktails. The staff even helped me arrange some fun activities.
Who needs wifi and towels anyway? The lack of these amenities just added to the rustic charm of the place.

The hotel is located in a convenient spot, just a few minutes' walk to the beach. The rooms are nice and the swimming pool is a great place to relax. The staff are friendly and helpful, always willing to show you around or have a chat. The common area is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for enjoying breakfast or chilling at the bar.
The staff can be unhelpful at times and seem more interested in their phones or chatting up guests.

Beachfront location was stunning, perfect for a romantic escape. The pool was a great addition, providing a refreshing place to cool off. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
The room was not clean, with stained bed sheets and old towels. The mosquito net had holes in it, allowing mosquitoes to enter.

Loved how I could bask in the sun on the white sand beach while the staff arranged trips for snorkeling and kite surfing. The onsite restaurant served delicious local and international cuisine. A perfect spot for relaxation and adventure.
Oh, I just adored getting my feet wet every time I used the shower next to the toilet. So refreshing!

We stayed at New Jambo Bungalows for 8 days during our vacation in Tanzania. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel like part of their family. The African-style bungalows were charming and equipped with mosquito nets that kept insects out. The swimming pool was refreshing and the private hammock was a nice touch. The location was fantastic, just a 2-minute walk to the beach and a short stroll to local bars and restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and felt that the hotel exceeded its 2-star rating. Thank you to the entire staff for an amazing stay!
Would recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic time at the bungalows in Paje. the location was perfect, just a short stroll down the laneway to the beach, where we found a great selection of beachfront cafes and restaurants. the accommodation itself was clean and spacious, with fully functioning mosquito nets and powerful showers with consistently hot water. We loved the hammocks and outside seating, and the rooms stayed cool thanks to the fan. the staff were absolutely phenomenal - so friendly, kind, and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. They even helped us arrange a trip to the Blue Lagoon at a much cheaper rate than we found online. it was a real value for money experience and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and safe stay in paradise. Cons: No cons at all! 💯.

We loved the natural feel of the wooden huts and the protective nets over the beds kept any pesky bugs away. The location right on the beach was a dream come true, and the cool breeze made for a comfortable night's sleep. The staff, especially Cholo and Abraham, were friendly and made us feel like part of the family. The value for money was really good, and we can't wait to come back and stay again. we highly recommend this hotel for a nice and enjoyable stay.
